Australia - New South Wales


New South Wales lies in the South East of Australia and is the country’s most populous state, with over 6.7 million inhabitants, most of whom are located along the coast and around the major city of Sydney, which is also serves as the state capital. 


There are many elements of interest for the traveler, firstly Sydney with its diverse cultural life, and cosmopolitan vibrancy, but there are also many natural wonders spread through out this vast state.  There are the white sandy beaches on much of the coast. 


Inland you have the delights of the Blue Mountains which are home to a wealth of flora and fauna, the Blue Mountains National Park is UNESCO listed environment, with species that are only found in this part of Australia.


On the South West coast of New South Wales nestles Jervis Bay, which is home to the Booderee National Park and Booderee Botanic Gardens, but also boasts many outdoor activities for the visitor including whale watching, scuba diving, snorkelling, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and is world renown for bird watching.
