Queensland - Australia


Queensland is one richest areas of biodiversity in Australia and is world famous for a number of world heritage sites which include the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree National Park.  The concern over the conservation within Queensland has lead to eco tourism growing appreciably over the last few years, accommodation providers are part of a state wide drive towards increased sustainability have helped Queensland to become one of the leading eco tourism regions of the world.  Queensland’s wealth of natural resources stems in part from various different climate within the state, the western part mainly arid and dry, in the east subtropical and tropical as well as the richness of marine life in the surrounding ocean which offers some of the most pristine beaches in Australia on the world famous Gold Coast.

Aside from the Great Barrier Reef there is the Daintree National Park, which offers the visitor tropical rainforests, swamps, mangroves and beaches.  Queensland also has the Glasshouse Mountains famed for its towering volcanic plugs.  Queensland offers the visitor so many different options, all visitors should make sure they allow enough time to take in everything they want see do in this wondrous state.
