South Australia

South Australia is comprised of a lengthy coastline, and a large part of the Outback.
South Australia has a low population in relation to most other states, with less than 10% of the entire population residing there. The state also includes Kangaroo Island, Australia's third largest island which lies off the coast of the mainland in the south-east of the state. The state capital is Adelaide, which is surrounded by plenty of things to offer for tourists and travellers including local villages and natural wonders.
South Australia is a culturally vibrant and is known for its festivals and fine produce. While South Australia may not have the magnetic effect for many travellers which other states have, it offers a different perspective on Australia. With world-class wine in the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale, which may mean it a place of pilgrimage for any committed wine connoisseur, but it also offers great produce, friendly people, unspoilt environment and a very relaxed pace of life, its definitely worth the visit.
