Pinctada Cable Beach Spa experience
The Pinctada Spa experience begins the moment you pass through the Pinctada maxima inspired doors. Behind them you’ll find an oasis created to nurture, revive and rekindle - a world class day spa in Broome, WA encircling a sparkling courtyard with a relaxation plunge pool and custom crafted Pinctada daybeds.
The Resorts experienced spa therapists will welcome you with a sense of calm, a cup of Yulu herbal tea and a smoking ceremony. The earthy aromas emanating from the carved Coolamon evoke a sense that this experience is something different - and, special.
The Pinctada Spa is Australia’s only LI’TYA concept spa. The extensive treatment menu features LI’TYA Spa Care from the Aboriginal Dreamtime, based on Australian native botanicals and tapping into 40,000 years of indigenous plant wisdom and holistic healing to rejuvenate the spirit.
To experience the Pinctada Spa is to journey beyond its elegant ambience to the landscape and spirit of the Kimberley. And, as with all Kimberley experiences, it’s personal - a time to connect and reconnect, a journey that bonds people and place - an experience of personal moments, endless horizons.
The Resort's treatments are from the earth, the sea - and, the Kimberley. The sea treatments include Pinctada maxima, the mother of pearl shell that nurtures the world’s most beautiful pearl and is indigenous to the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean off the West Kimberley town of Broome. The stones in the Kodo massage were gathered in Kununurra, the gateway town to the East Kimberley - each month their spiritual powers are replenished under the light of the full Kimberley moon. The Resort offers an extensive range of spa beauty treatments along with:
- Couples and individual treatment rooms
- Vichy shower
- Mineral bath
- Infrared dry float
- Juice bar
- Sauna
- Hair salon
- Al fresco dining
- Hydrotherapy experiences for the scalp and feet

Sustainable/Ethical Credentials
back to topAs would be expected in a region where water means life, the Pinctada Resort & Spa relies heavily on painstaking water management. The entire development is connected to a grey water management system and wastewater is recycled for irrigation. A state of the art solar heating system is the primary source of instantaneous hot water, designed to minimise energy consumption.
The eco friendly resort’s design features access to natural light throughout, and an energy-efficient intelligent lighting system which boasts daylight harvesting technology. The centralised energy management system also manages the air conditioning and links to the central reservation system to reduce energy consumption and hence the resort’s carbon footprint.
In keeping with the climate, landscaping in association with Jamie Durie’s Patio Landscape Architecture and Design features mainly indigenous flora that requires minimal water and upkeep. This is interspersed with the occasional exotic planting for colour or contrast.
