Scandic Kolding has great transport links close to both the E43 and E20.
The hotel is on the edge of the logistic hub of Kolding. Not far from the hotel there's the Kolingstorcenter shopping centre which is a short drive away and slightly further a field there's other Kolding attractions like the Trapholt Art Museum.

back to topIf you are staying in the hotel on business, it's an ideal place to conduct meetings. The hotel has 18 meeting rooms, which accommodate from meetings for 2 to events and conferences for 700 people.
In terms of keeping in shape, you can work out in the gymnasium, or you can borrow a bike from the hotel and go for a ride out in the surrounding area, and perhaps after your ride relax in the hotels sauna.
Kids get to stay for free (under 13s) at the hotel so it's ideal for families. On arrival children receive a welcome gift, there's a kids menu for them and they can play about on the mobile play modules, play computer games, watch kids TV channels, play board games, read, draw and do jigsaws.
For guests with disabilities there are trained staff on hand to help, there are rooms that have been modified which feature widened doors, height-adjustable beds, hearing loops at reception and mobile hearing loops for meetings as well as vibrating alarm clock.

back to topScandic Hotels are constantly striving to reduce their impact on the environment. In 2007 they committed themselves to reducing their carbon footprint to zero by 2025. Their environmental policy is perhaps one of the most comprehensive in the world wide hospitality industry.
Elements included within the Scandic environmental policy are; eco-friendly cleaning products used through out the hotel, a comprehensivewaste management plan which includes; sorting waste into 22 categories and recycling wherever possible use of low energy light bulbs, key controlled lighting, efficient shower heads and taps, toilets fitted with efficient flush mechanisms.
The hotel uses no GM food or beverage products. Food is organic wherever possible and all coffee is fairtrade.
The Scandic chain also have their own sustainability fund, which makes donations to NGOs that are involved raising awareness of sustainable social development.

By bus
The number 203 and 207 buses leave from Kolding Banegård station, heading for Vejle. Get off at the Bramdrupdam Scandic bus stop for the Scandic Kolding hotel. The journey normally takes around 25 minutes.
From Billund Airport

Taxis are readily available to take you from Billund Airport to the Scandic Kolding hotel. The journey normally takes around 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel forecourt.
By car
From Billund Airport, join the Grindstedvej highway. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Granvej. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit on to 176 Båstlundvej. Continue straight ahead until the roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto 28 Lufthavnsvej. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto 28 and continue ahead on to 18 Bredstenvej. Turn right onto 441 Vingstedvej and, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto 441 Ammitsbølvej. Continue on to 441 Starupvej, then on to 441, and next on to 441 Dons Landevej. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit on to 441 Dons Landevej and continue straight ahead on to 441 Vejlevej and then Kokholm. You will see the Scandic Kolding hotel ahead.
