The hotel is an ideal venue for conferences, exhibitions and business meetings, there are 15 conference and meeting venues within the hotel, all of which have modern high-ceilings and large windows which provide plenty of natural light, they also are all fitted with the latest AV equipment.  The largest exhibition/conference space is 371 sqr metres.  With a 6 metre high ceiling.  The hotel can accommodate 400 delegates to its conference facilities during the day.  

There is modern gym within the hotel, with panoramic views over the skyline of Copenhagen, equipment includes free-weights, running machines, exercise bikes and a cross trainer.  The hotel has its own open air spa on the roof of the hotel.  There is also a 9-hole miniature golf course and a sauna which to help you to relax. 

The hotel is suitable for guests with limited mobility.  There are automatic doors at the main entrance, there are six car parking spaces that have a width of 3.6 metres.  Reception is "wheel chair friendly", there are also rooms for guests that have widened-doors and height-adjustable beds.  Hearing loops are available at reception and guide dogs are welcomed.

The hotel is well served by its own parking facilities, which has 186 car parking spaces, all of which are free of charge.  (Although tickets are required for each car and are issued at reception.)

There is free wireless internet connection through out every part of the hotel.

Scandic Sydhavnen follows the same strict environmental policy which is in place through out all hotels owned and operated by the Scandic hotel chain.  

The hotel conforms to the Scandic sustainability buildings policy, which includes a directive for the use of non-toxic materials to be used for either construction, precedence to be given to contractors who have a proven commitment to best environmental practises.  Materials which are either made from recycled materials or which can be recycled at the end of their life are also given precedence above cheaper options during construction and maintenance.  

Waste is minimised wherever possible at the hotel, there is a hard waste management program which sorts waste into 22 categories and recycles wherever possible.  Energy is sourced from renewable sources instead of fossil fuel-based sources, the energy used is then conserved by a number of measures including the use of room key controlled lighting and low energy light bulbs.  Water waste is monitored and reduced by the use of efficient taps and shower heads.  Water is filtered by the hotel so that it is as pure as bottled water and thereby reducing guests need for bottled water.

The hotels "Meadow Garden" restaurant serves the seasons finest ingredients, the restaurant has direct access to the terrace, and a wealth of light from the huge windows that border the dining room.  The bar serves tasty snacks and exotic cocktails, a wide selection of wines and a number of speciality coffees, and has large comfy sofas to help you enjoy the very calm and relaxed atmosphere.  All breakfasts are free at the Scandic Syhavnen as they are included within the cost or your stay.
