The hotel is ideally situated for access to the  Boras Train Station, as well shopping and other Boras attractions.  A little further away is the Boras Zoo.

Kids staying at the hotel have plenty to keep them from getting bored, there are mobile play modules, "Film-Time", jigsaws to do, books to read, and computer games.  In the restaurant there is a "kids menu" and high chairs for small children.  Another bonus at the hotel is the policy of letting kids stay for free (under 13 years).  

The hotel is able to cater to the needs of disabled guests.  Staff are trained to help guests who may require additional assistance.  The hotel has 3 rooms for the disabled.  The rooms have been modified so it can be used easily by a wheelchair users can use the rooms easily for example, switches and furniture handles are set at the appropriate height.  The en-suite bathrooms have also been modified accordingly and have each to reach emergency alarms.  Hearing loops are available at reception.  For business guests attending meetings, mobile hearing loops are available.  Guide dogs are welcome at the hotel.  

There are 38 underground parking spaces at the hotel.  (Additional fees are applied to these parking spaces).  

The hotel gives all guests free wireless internet access.

The hotels restaurant serves enticing meals which includes a large breakfast buffet, "brunch", a bistro lunch as well as à la carte dining.  The restaurant also has its own bar complete with comprehensive drinks menu as well as comfy sofas and a relaxed atmosphere.  (The restaurant is closed on Sundays, although the hotel shop in the lobby offers salads, wraps, and sandwiches.)  Breakfast at Scandic Plaza Boras is free and is included in the price of your stay.  

From Gothenburg Landvetter Airport by bus:

From Gothenburg Landvetter Airport by car:
Rental cars are available in the lobby of Landvetter Airport. After leaving the airport, heading east, turn towards Boras on highway 40 and drive for about 25 miles. Turn off at the exit marked "Växjö/ Centrum”. Turning slight left to take the ramp towards Djurparken/Trollhättan, take a left at the sign for Högskolan /Folkets hus. Take the first turn left and you will see the hotel on your left-hand side. The journey should take about 30 minutes.

From Borås Central Station by train:
From Boras Central Station exit, take the road to the left and continue until you cross the river Viskan. Follow the largest road, Yxhammarsgatan, until you find the Scandic Plaza hotel next to the roundabout about 200 metres ahead.

From Borås Central Station by taxi:From Boras Central Station taxis are readily available to take you to the Scandic Plaza hotel. The half mile journey should take about 3 minutes.
