There is a welcome gift waiting for them on arrival, "Play Modules" are them available for them to mess about on. They can draw, do jigsaws, watch kids TV channels, play computer games and read. The restaurant has a "kids menu" as well as high chairs for small children. Children under the age of 13 stay free at the hotel.
The location of the makes it ideal for a business guest, within the hotel there 7 flexible meeting and conference rooms which can accommodate between 2-160 people and in total can accommodate up to 300 business people.
For guests who want to stay in shape during their stay there is a fitness room which has a treadmill, exercise bike and free weights as well as 3 saunas which can you help relax. You can also borrow walking poles or perhaps borrow a bike from the hotel and explore Finland's capital.
There are 3 rooms for the disabled at the hotel. Each of the rooms have been designed and modified so that wheel chair users are able to use the rooms without assistance. The beds can be adjusted for both legs and back. The rooms all have an en-suite bathroom which has also been modified for use by a wheel chair user. There are 2 disabled parking spaces at the hotel, public areas have lifts and automatic doors. There is a toilet for the disabled in the public area. Hearing loops are available at reception, business guests can ask for mobile hearing loops at reception and guide dogs are welcome at the hotel.

back to topAs part of the Scandic hotel chains determination to be one of the leading environmentally sensitive accommodation providers in the world is underpinned by their environmental policy. The Scandic environmental policy is in place in the hotel itself.
During the daily operation of the hotel every effort is made to ensure that the hotel has as little impact on the environment as possible. All the waste that is generated by the hotel is separated by staff so that it falls into one of the 22 catagories that the hotel uses to manage hard waste. All waste that can be recycled, is recycled.
Energy is sourced from renewable energy providers rather than non-renewable sources. Energy that is generated is conserved using appliances that are energy efficient. Electrical fittings have been fitted through out the hotel which help conserve energy. Water is also conserved using efficient appliances and plumbing fittings which conserve water, like low-flush toilets and efficient shower heads and efficient taps.

From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport by bus:
The Finnair airport bus runs regularly to Helsinki Railway Station, just a 5-minute walk away from the Scandic Marski hotel.
