Olakira Camp is a Luxury Mobile Safari Camp that is based in the Serengeti National Park
Olakira Camp gives you the opportunity to see the wealth of natural life on the plains of the Serengeti National Park. Moving to wherever the game is at its most concentrated, Olakira Camp immerses you into your immediate surroundings in the bush.
You'll have front row seats at the Great Migration of game, as the herds move through the wilderness of the Serengeti, you'll see the herds encounter predators from the the big five. As well as the rich array of other wildlife in the park.
You'll experience the natural order of the Serengeti, while still being given great standard of comfort and luxury. In essence, the nights spent under the stars give you a taste of the classic tented mobile safaris of the past.

back to topTime spent at Olakira Camp is channelled into game drives and wildlife viewing. Whether the camp is on the Mara River or the Southern Plains of Ndutu, the aim is to get you as close into the thick of the action as possible.
Game drives can be either half day or full day with a picnic bush lunch enjoyed overlooking the Serengeti plains.
Back in camp, story telling, board games, star gazing or relaxing with a book are some of the activities which can be enjoyed amidst the sounds of the bush.
When the camp is in the north, a crossing point directly in front of camp allows for jaw-dropping game viewing whilst enjoying breakfast.
Private meals in the surrounding bush can also be arranged by camp management.

When the camp is in the south most will drive to Olakira with their vehicle and guide, and then drive away again when they move on. When it is in the more remote north you may choose to fly here. No matter where the camp is you have the choice to either fly-in and use the resident vehicles and guides, or drive in with a private driver/guide.
