The hotel has its own bar which has a classic Scandinavian clean and minimalist look to it, you can choose to eat bar snacks if you fancy something solid while you try the local beers.  The large TV in the bar shows major sporting events from time to time.  

For kids staying at the hotel there's plenty to do, there are mobile play modules, film time, additional kids TV channels and a free gift.  One of the joys of staying at the hotel is that your kids stay is free (under 13s).  

If you have limited mobility, you can be assured that the hotel is equipped and staffed so that you won't feel that you're restricted during your stay.  The measures put in place by the hotel include; rooms fitted for the disabled, adjustable beds and hearing loops available at reception.  You can read more in the Scandic Mobility Brochure.  

The hotel has a fitness room which is equipped with free weights, a treadmill, a crosstrainer, and an exercise bike.  There are also, a number of running tracks close by. For those looking for something a little more outdoor, but perhaps slightly slower, there a 7 golf courses within 19 miles of the hotel, somewhat spoiling a keen golfer for choice.  

There's 70 car parking spaces which are all free to guests.

Scandic hotels are committed to minimising to the chains environmental impact.  They have won a multitude of environmental and ethical awards.

In relation to food and beverages they ensure there are no GM products within the hotel, organic options are chosen wherever possible, by fitting efficient taps and showers, toilets which are low-flush, low energy light bulbs and room key controlled lighting.  Eco-friendly cleaning products are used through out.

The restaurant at the hotel combines traditional Scandinavian cuisine with some modern touches.  Your food is served at tables which look out over the green surroundings of the hotel.  The restaurant can seat 200 diners if you require the venue to cater for a conference.  If you don't fancy eating at the restaurant you can order what you like from the menu and take advantage of the hotels room service which operates while the restaurant is open.  And the restaurant serves a free breakfast which is included in the cost of the nightly rate for your stay at the hotel .
