If you've ever stayed at a Scandic hotel with your family you'll know that kids under 13 years stay for free, which is a nice surprise.  The kids don't just get to stay for free they also get a welcome gift, there are kids TV channels, a kids menu in restaurant, high chairs in restaurant, film time as well as drawing, reading jigsaws and computer games.  

For business guests there are 2 meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 60 people, which have views across the water and over at Copenhagen Opera House.  There is also a boardroom for 12 executives.  All rooms have internet access and high end technical equipment.  The restaurant can easily cater for the business guests.

For guests with physical impairments, the hotel has made a number of modifications that enable you to have a more pleasant stay, the measures include; hearing loops being available from reception, hearing loops for meetings, rooms with widened doors, height adjustable beds and alarm clocks that vibrate and will also react if triggered by the fire alarm.   

The hotel's bar is one of the Copenhagen’s trendiest hotspots.  It's a cool, modern friendly where the cool people of the city come to relax.  It has an impressive array of drinks on offer and also serves tasty snacks.  The bar can accommodate up to 150 people.  

Parking is available 1000 metres from the hotel.

In 2007 Scandic Hotels announced our target of halving fossil carbon dioxide emissions by 2011.  At the same time they set themselves the bold target of having "zero fossil CO2 emissions" by 2025.  It is this kind of audacious target that marks Scandic hotels out from other leading hotel chains.

Measures taken at the Scandic Front Copenhagen include; all waste being sorted into 22 categories and every possible opportunity is taken to recycle.  Water is conserved through the use of low-flush toilets, efficient taps and showers, energy waste is minimised with the fitting of key controlled lighting, low energy light bulbs.  As part of the hotels sustainability buildings policy no toxic materials are used in any of the construction or maintenance materials.  All cleaning products used within the hotel are as eco-friendly cleaning products.  No GM food is served in the hotel, organic food served wherever possible and coffee is fairtrade.

The restaurant can cater for up to 100 people and serves both breakfast and dinner.Room Service is provides various dishes, both breakfast and dinner can be ordered through room service.Breakfast is inclusive at the restaurant.
