The cultural centre of Vaerket is within an easy walk of the hotel. A little further away there's the Randers Regnskoven Tropical Zoo which immerses you in an array of living tropical ecosystems. A drive out of Randers and into the Jutland countryside can take you to Clausholm Castle which is perhaps one of the most stunningly preserved examples of baroque architecture in Denmark.

By car
From Tirstrup Airport, follow signs for Aarhus and Randers, taking route 21. When you reach Randers, turn right across Aarhus Bridge. Then take the first right along Havnegade. At the next roundabout, take the third exit. After 300m, turn right and continue for 50m. Turn right again, following signs for the Scandic Kongens Ege hotel. Drive through the park and you will see the hotel in front of you. The journey normally takes around 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel.
By bus
Take the bus on route 212 from outside arrivals at Tirstrup Airport to Randers bus terminal. From here, taxis are readily available to take you to the Scandic Kongens Ege hotel. The journey normally takes around 1 hour from the airport to the hotel.
From Randers Train Station
By car
Drive for 500m along route 180 (Jernbanegade). Turn left onto Vestervold and continue uphill for another 500m. Turn right onto Markedsgade, continue for 350m, then turn left. After 50m you will see signs for the Scandic Kongens Ege hotel. Turn right here and drive through the park for 100m until you see the Scandic Kongens Ege hotel. The 1 mile journey normally takes 5 minutes from the train station to the hotel.
