Scandic Regina sits beside Herning Railway Station, a 5 minute stroll from the town centre.  

If you're in town on business the hotel just is at the other end of the street from the MCH Herning Kongrescenter (Herning Conference Centre).  Once you've finished your busy day, you can swim a few lengths at the Herning Swimming Center, or tee off at Herning Golf Club.  

The Scandic Regina has its own fitness room which includes crosstrainer, exercise bike, treadmills, free weights and yoga mats.  There's also a 24hr 4 person sauna to help you relax.  

Kids stay for free at Scandic Regina (under 13s).  There's also a, computer games, drawing, reading, jigsaws, and "film-time".  They'll also get a welcome gift on arrival.  As well as a kids menu in the restaurant.  

The hotel is perfect for business meetings within the hotel there are the 5 meeting rooms which can accommodate from 5 to 120 business delegates.   In a wider context of conferences in Herning the hotel is very conveniently situated for the both the Exhibition Centre Herning and Herning Congress Centre.  

For guests with limited mobility, there are rooms with widened doors, height-adjustable beds, hearing loops are available reception.  (NB for breakfast, wheel-chair users have to use the kitchen lift)  All staff at the hotel are trained in the most effective methods of assisting disabled guests.  

The hotel has 55 outdoor parking spaces that are free of charge, there are also 25 covered parking spaces which are charged at a daily rate.  

There's free wireless internet connection available through out the hotel.

The Scandic hotel chain is committed to minimising their hotel impact on the environment.  The Scandic Regina adheres to the Scandic Environmental Policy.  

The highly extensive environmental policy includes the use of eco-friendly cleaning products through out the hotel, waste is sorted into 22 categories and recycled wherever possible, energy is sourced from renewable sources.  Energy and water waste is minimised by the use of low energy light bulbs, room key controlled lighting, efficient taps and showers and low-flush toilets.  

All staff receive environmental training for best practice during daily operations.

The hotel within the restaurant offers Italian classics like tuna-fish and fresh pasta as well as other Italian treats including excellent sweet selection.  The restaurant can seat up to 40 diners.  Breakfast is free as it is included in the cost of meal.
