Six Senses Spa

The Six Senses Earth Spa is as the name suggests based upon a holistic approach to treatment inspired by the earth.  The some of the "skin food treatments" include freshly picked ingredients for relaxing body-nourishing therapies, which can provided so wellness consultants.  You can take wellness activities like yoga and meditation other treatments include purification programs, "Earth Spa Journeys" as well as a Private Yoga Menu.   _{*The spa opening hours are 9am to 8pm every day. Sports and Recreation

There's plenty to do at the resort, there's a swimming Pool, the Evason Tennis Club, beach volleyball, Archery, a fitness centre as well as a library with internet access.  If you want to get really active you can go snorkelling or kiteboarding or the resort staff can help you make tour arrangements or play golf nearby, you can borrow bicycles and go for a ride,  or go for a walk on one of the nature trails that take advantage of the unique location.

Kids

There's a professionally managed kids' club, the club has its own swimming pool, which serves as a focal point.  The club engages and stimulates with adventure games and exciting mind-challenging activities.  

Sustainable/Ethical Credentials

The resort has its own Environmental and Sustainability Policy, which guides its operations as an eco resort.  As a company Six Senses Resorts have established the Social & Environmental Responsibility Fund (SERF).  This unique fund puts 0.5% of the total revenue generated by all of their resorts and then makes it available to local environmental and social projects as well as initiatives for responsible development.  The Social & Environmental Responsibility Fund takes its lead from Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the United Nations. 

Food, produce and gardening

There is a mushroom hut within the resort oyster and woodear mushrooms are grown on sawdust and are then served in the resort and the staff canteen. Once the mushrooms have extracted the lignin and cellulose the sawdust is then used as a highly productive natural fertiliser on resorts gardens.  A raised organic garden bed has been created using various recycled materials.  The beds are comprised of wine and beer bottles, mud bricks and aluminum cans.  These improvised bed objects are used to grow a range of herbs as well as chillis, lolla rossa, yard long beans and buttercrunch. 

Waste Management

Aluminium, paper, glass and plastic are recycled at the resort.  Old bed sheets are used for wrapping laundry bags.  Batteries used at the resort are rechargeable rather than disposable.  "Wet waste" from the resorts kitchens is used by a local pig farm.  Organic waste is composted and then used on the resorts organic garden.  "Grey water" is used on on the resorts gardens.  Water conserving appliances have been fitted to showers and toilets.  Treated water from the resort are is recycled into man-made ponds and streams around the resort.  The resort's staff use biodegradable washing detergents and cleaning fluids are used in housekeeping operations including the laundry.
