The Scandic Crown hotel has an ideal location in central Gothenburg.
The canal-crossed historic centre of Gothenburg and numerous Gothenburg attractions are a few minutes walk away from the hotel, as is Gothenburg Central Station. The Ullevi Stadium just a little bit further away the hotel. So if you want to attend an event at the stadium or explore the town or maybe both, you couldn't be better placed.

back to topThe hotel is perfect for many reasons in business terms, its location is obviously a huge plus, it also has 23 meeting rooms and a business centre, in total the business facilities of the hotel can cater accommodate 700 delegates during the day. The hotel is also within walking distance or a quick cab ride away, from the Swedish Exhibition Centre.
Kids stay at the hotel free of charge (under 13s). When children arrive at the hotel they are given welcome gift and once they've settled in they can do jigsaws, play computer games, watch films at "Film Time", play in the playroom, draw and read.
For disabled guests the hotel is good choice as the staff have been trained to help effectively guests with additional needs. There are rooms which cater to disabled guests, these have widened-doors, height adjustable beds, vibrating alarm clocks (which are also triggered in event of the hotels fire alarm). Guide dogs are welcome at the hotel.
Keeping in trim could not be easier at the hotel as it has its own gym which is comprehensively equipped with free weights, weight training machines and multi-gym as well as cardiovascular equipment which includes a treadmill, crosstrainer, dumbells and multigym.
Perhaps post-gym, after a day on the town or perhaps a day of businese meetings there is no where better to unwind than the relaxation centre, which has a jacuzzi, 2 saunas and panoramic views of Gothenburg.
The hotel has 100 parking spaces (all carrying an additional charge) which are subject to availability.

back to topThe Scandic hotel chain is very mindful of the impact that each of their hotels has on the environment. As a result since 1993 they have been working on on an ever evolving environmental policy which is in place at all of their hotels. The Scandic Crown is operated in-line with the Scandic environmental policy.
Elements to lessen the impact on the impact of the hotel upon the environment include: Sourcing renewable energy rather than using energy generated from non-renewable sources. Energy are conserved through the use of energy efficient appliances, low energy light bulbs, room key controlled lighting. Water is conserved using efficient taps and shower heads as well as low-flush toilets. The impact of keeping the hotel clean is reduced through the use of "eco-friendly" cleaning products. In terms of the food and beverages supplied the hotel, they contain no GM ingredients, all food is from organic sources wherever possible and all coffee is fairtrade. All waste within the hotel is sorted into 22 categories and recycled where possible.
