It is easy to deal with business matter at the hotel as there with 12 meeting rooms that can accommodate between 2-180 business people, the easy road links and plentiful parking really make it a handy place to meet.  

The Scandic Helsingborg Nord has a fitness centre so it’s easy to stay fit during your stay using the gym equipment which includes free weights, treadmill, gym ball, a cross-trainer and exercise bike.  You can also put in a few lengths in the pool, our just have a relaxing steam in the sauna.  

There is a room for a disabled guest within the hotel, this room has been modified so every light switch, tap and furniture is designed to be set at the correct height for a wheelchair user.  The en-bathroom within the room is also modified to the same specifications.  The staff are trained to help disabled guests, hearing loops are available at reception.  And guide dogs are welcome at the hotel.   

For kids there are additional activities provided, which include a "play-host" and a playroom.  Kids can draw, play computer games, read books and watch children's TV channels.  Kids stay free at hotel (under 13 years of age).

There is free wireless internet access in public areas, guests rooms and all meeting and conference rooms.  

Parking at the hotel could not be easier.  There 230 free parking spaces available to guests.

The Scandic hotel chain have been working to reduce their all of their hotels impact on the environment since 1993.  By 2025 Scandic hotels are committed to having a zero carbon footprint.  Scandic Helsingborg Nord adheres the Scandic environmental policy which is the foundation on which the 2025 target is based.  

Elements of the environmental policy includes:  Energy sourced from renewable sources.  Waste is tightly managed, water is conserved through the hotel being equipped with water efficient machines, low-flush toilets, efficient taps and showers.  Energy is conserved through the use of energy efficient machines,room key controlled lighting and low energy light bulbs.  All types of waste is sorted by hotel staff into 22 categories it is then recycled where possible.  

When it comes to food and beverages, there's no GM food served at the hotel, organic food is served by the restaurant and bar wherever possible.  All coffee served is fairtrade.

The restaurant has a wooden floor which sets the calming tone of the dining experience.  You can relax as you dine with the warmth of an open fire close at hand.  The hotel bar has large comfortable arm chairs, an open fire and serves a diverse range of drinks.  Breakfast is free at Scandic Helsingborg Nord.(The restaurant is closed on Saturdays).
